Yoga District offers yoga classes for a $10 donation, or less with donation packages or sliding scale! Join us for classes, or for our 200-hour yoga teacher training program. Donations received support our free yoga outreach to area shelters, detention centers, schools, trauma survivors, and more.
My classes focus on Kripalu yoga — a meditation in motion — and include elements of yoga therapy as well. We practice classic yoga postures combined with deep breathing exercises that will both stretch and strengthen the body as well as calm and quiet the mind. We move slowly in and out of the postures for safe alignment and hold them long enough to feel the benefits and build up strength. The classes start with a gentle warm-up, move to deeper stretches, and end with a blissful, peaceful relaxation.…
BE yoga is a yoga COMMUNITY in Cleveland Park. Kripalu styled yoga for everyone. Yoga classes, private lessons, workshops, Kirtan, Karma Yoga, and Yoga for the Special Child (children with Autism, Down Syndrome, ADHD, CP, learning and physical difficulties).
